Cool looking game, but 50% of the time my shots didnt hit the enemies

Two things I learned from this game -- shoot quick, shoot steady, and shoot the Indians first.

Great animation on the Arizona ranger, especially his walk cycle. Really, this game doesn't have any right to be as fluid or as fun as it is. The unique mechanic that requires you to stand still while aiming actually made me feel like an old-west gunslinger, choosing between mobility, accuracy, and speed while moving my woefully slow mouse (in-game sensitivity controls would be a bonus). The fluidity of animations and the short-and-tight gameplay means my only complaint is there aren't enough goons to get rid of!

Seriously, this game is already fun as a short gameplay demo and there's still so much that could be built upon it. Difficulty levels with different amounts of enemies and aiming speeds, score/cash/health drops from enemies, some sort of perks or shops. There's real potential here, even if the creator has moved to other projects, I could see something like this being fleshed out into an actual 10-15 hour game.

Thanks Sash ;)

The definitive Dark Souls of Western one-shot side scrolling shooters--tough, but fair, and lots of deep hidden lore if you know where to look. Looking forward to more offerings from you SlowNibbler!

Haha, I also released a game named after a Marty Robbins song. Hopefully his estate doesn't come after us!
